About

AAM4Gov is the AAM Academy for city and local government offering unique certificated courses in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).

Courses covering a wide range of topics from legal, regulatory and insurance issues, to drone security and the best ways of engaging with the public are being designed and created to meet the burgeoning demand from local authorities seeking essential knowledge, skills and expertise to start integrating drone and eVTOL operations into all areas of their short/long term management and planning.

AAM4Gov will include a Directory of industry experts and regulatory contacts to provide services and and in-depth information and a series of ask-the-expert webinars will also be hosted.

Courses will be available to take “solo” online, or interactively as an online group with tutorial support from industry experts. Courses will be a mix of free and charged-for with special pricing arrangements available for local authorities.

Courses are being developed with the support of ARPAS-UK (the UK’s drone trade association) and in partnership with Urban Air Mobility News (www.urbanairmobilitynews.com).  All courses are validated by appropriate industry experts and regulatory bodies.

Following release of the initial launch programmes, AAM4Gov will work with a widening spectrum of industry experts to create further courses on a range of topics to meet the needs of beginner, intermediate and advanced learners within local authorities.

AAM4Gov is a PMI Media Limited initiative and founded by Philip Butterworth-Hayes and Greg Suart.

AAM4Gov is supported by UKRI and Innovate UK with funding from the “Future Flight: closing the skills gaps” competition.
