AAM4Gov courses are designed for local government – elected officers, decision makers, managers and operators. Courses will cover a range of topics and be designed for beginners, intermediates or experts, according to the subject matter.

Some AAM4Gov courses are designed for independent learning ("Solo") and others are designed to be interactive with tutorial support and engagement with other learners. Interactive courses will be for groups and will be time based.

The Directory is a databank of UAM/AAM experts that can be helpful to local authorities large and small. Registration in the Directory is FREE and enhanced profiles will be available for a small premium.

AAM4Gov’s unique and exclusive online learning resource is an innovative solution to meet the needs of elected officers, decision makers, managers and operators in local authorities. Courses are accessible online 24 hours a day – every day. As a learner you are able to study at your own speed, whether at home, in the office or travelling. You can access courses on PC, tablet or mobile phone and even set your own study schedule, without losing time commuting to a classroom.

AAM4Gov online courses are designed to make your online learning experience effective, informative, challenging and enjoyable. All courses are packed with a variety of training materials including:

• Lecture videos, professionally edited with on-screen animations and notes to aid the learning process

• Downloadable learning materials, documents, planning guides and templates

• As a student you will be able to test your learning with an online quiz that refers to the video you have just seen. To help you track your learning progress and support your workplace needs short tests may also be offered at key stages of each course

• Live training sessions using high-resolution video connecting tutors and students in real time will be a feature of some interactive courses

• Interactive courses will also include assignments for evaluation.

AAM4Gov  is building a bank of eLearning courses including certificated and short courses which are perfect modules when you want to learn about specific topics. AAM4Gov’s list of courses will cover the wide range of important topics in urban air mobility in local communities and meet the needs of local authorities decision makers. Topics will include such activities as policy making, law, security and community engagement.

Both. Some courses are delivered for FREE and others, including the interactive courses have a modest fee. There are special pricing arrangements for local authorities which are either displayed on the website or available by contacting AAM4Gov direct.

Most AAM4Gov courses will be certificated by UrbanAirMobilityNews.com and ARPAS-UK – the UK’s Drone Association. All courses have been approved by relevant organisations in authority (eg CAA) and industry experts.

A "Solo" course is one that is taken online, in your own time and at your own pace.

A "Certificated" course is taken with a cohort of learners, with live interactive online sessions and an expert tutor in attendance. The course includes assignments.
